Private Lesson Rules

1. Cancellations or changing of lesson times will not be accepted with less than 12 hours prior notice. Any such cancellation/changing will result in the lesson/tuition fee being forfeited/lost.

2. Cancellations or changing due to unforeseen sickness will be accepted with less than 12 hours notice.

3. Cancellations or changing due to other EXCEPTIONAL unforeseen events may also be accepted on a case-by-case basis.

4. “No Shows” will also be deemed as cancellations and therefore will result in the lesson/tuition fee being forfeited as above.

5. Please note that cancellations or changing must only be communicated via SMS or a phone call (message must be left if call is unanswered). E-Mail cancellations or changing will not be accepted as there is a high possibility that they may not be read beforehand.

6. All students are kindly requested to be on time to ensure a prompt start to lessons. Lateness will result in lesson times being shortened by the corresponding time. This is to avoid a knock-on effect on later lessons and to ensure that they start at the agreed times. If lessons are started slightly later than scheduled due to my own personal circumstance then lesson times will not be shortened as above.

7. Please also ensure that the correct EBMAS uniforms are worn at all times according to your respective grade/position and have your beverage and towel ready before starting your private lesson.

8. As a sign of respect and etiquette to Sifu Amir, please ensure that FULL payment of lessons is made before commencement of your private tuition. Part payment is, in effect, a sign of disrespect and will regrettably not be permitted in future.

9. Please make sure that you have renewed your package by making the full payment before having 2 class days left in your account. Failing this process will result of being removed from Sifu Amir’s schedule.

10. Students will receive 1 x 45 min private lesson free upon their first registration for 10 private lesson packages with Sifu Amir.

11. Introduce EBMAS & LATOSA to new students and receive 1 x 45 min private lesson free of charge.

12. If the newly introduced student registers for a 10 private lesson package, the existing full time student will receive 1 x 45 min private instruction for free.

13. Only the students who have a monthly group lesson in Dubai Karate Centre for Wing Tzun/Escrima/Self-Defense or an unfinished private lesson package, can avail the free private lesson offer described above in the term 10 and 11.

14. Double up your preferred 10 private lesson package and receive 1 x 45 min private lesson for free.

15. Students have to use their earned free private lessons in 2 weeks.

16. Using 5 star gym facilities, showers, saunas, pools, jacuzzis, nursery and parking are allowed for 2 hours after the lesson is finished in HT as a guest of Sifu Amir (check #18).

17. Please be present behind the parking gate exactly 5 minutes before the lesson start time, inform (call) Sifu Amir to open the gate for you and park only at the correct parking spot (check #18)

18. You’ll be accepted as Sifu Amir’s guest in HT to use its facilities that is a residential building if Sifu Amir and the HT management find no objection about it.

19. Training in your preferred location: 50 aed extra (per lesson, per student) if the location is closer than 35 km (round trip from Dubai Marina "HT" to your place) or 1.5 aed extra per km (per lesson, per student) if the location is 35 km far or more (round trip from Dubai Marina "HT" to your place).

20. Payment for any of our services will be deemed as acceptance of all our terms and conditions.
