Grade Rules
1. Please note that for each individual, in order to progress to the next grading, attendance and participation at the seminar is obligatory and payment must be received by the person in charge beforehand and preferably not on the day of the seminar.
2. Students wishing to take 2 grades in a row must take a total of 40 private lessons with Sifu Amir or any of our qualified EBMAS-UAE instructors between seminars and will only be permitted to do so if he/she did not miss the last given seminar by Sifu Amir, Dai-Sifu Emin or GGM Rene in UAE.
3. However, if a person misses a seminar he/she cannot take 2 grades in a row at the next seminar even if he/she has taken the 40 private lessons as indicated above. Therefore in order to attempt 2 grades during 1 seminar, students must attend 2 consecutive seminars and a total of 40 private lessons must have been taken in between these consecutive seminars.
4. If Dai-Sifu Emin and/or GGM Rene are giving a series of seminars in a row, students are requested to attend a minimum of 2 of them (2 with each master or 4 with 2 masters) in order to attempt 2 levels in a row and of course subject to the student being eligible for it.
5. Only a maximum of 2 grades will be permitted to be taken at any given seminar or series of seminars (camps) assuming the above conditions have been met.
6. All of the levels mentioned above relate to SG levels (student grade) only. TG or higher levels have longer periods of waiting and cannot be taken as 2 levels in a row.
